Task Board is made by The Code Guy Ltd, a small software company in the UK. It began as the tool we wanted for our own client work, and it's still the tool we run that work on every day.
We were running client projects across a kanban tool, a separate time tracker and a support inbox, retyping the same request into all three. Work got logged twice, or not at all. Clients couldn't see their own requests without paying for a seat, so they emailed instead.
So we built the version where those are one thing: the request arrives, becomes a task, the time tracks against it, and the client can see it without costing us a licence.
Then AI agents turned up and it became obvious they belonged on the board too — as participants with an audit trail, not as a chat box bolted to the side.
We'd rather do seven things properly than seventy badly, which is why the feature list is short and the pricing page fits on one screen. If you email us, a person who works on the product will answer.
